Managing your e-mail list

Via the Web Interface
You may manage some of the more advanced features of your listserve via the WebAdmin interface. Login with your domain manager account to access the Lists tab in Webadmin where you may configure many of the below settings, and members.

Via E-mail
If you have a large list of addresses to add or delete, e-mail list membership may also be handled via e-mail directly to the listserver itself. Make sure your e-mail address is listed as a moderator in the WebAdmin interface first.
You will need to be sure the following settings are enabled, if this was not requested when the list was initially configured.
-Allow multiple commands
-Allow extended join/leave commands
-Allow review command

Send as e-mail to listname-request@yourdomain.com with one of the following commands:

REVIEW
If this command is enabled for your list, this will return a list of all members on your list.

SUBSCRIBE ListName email@domain.com
This will subscribe the e-mail address to your list. Be sure to replace ‘ListName’ with the name of your e-mail list. You may include multiple of these commands if you have many addresses to add.

UNSUBSCRIBE ListName email@domain.com
This will remove the e-mail address from your list. Be sure to replace ‘ListName’ with the name of your e-mail list. You may include multiple of these commands if you have many addresses to remove.

Header Scripts

These are example scripts you may with to use in order to better utilize your listserve.

In order to add in an identifier to assist your users in sorting your list in their e-mail clients, you may wish to tag each message with your e-mail list name. This may be done using the following example:
CLEANFROM Subject: [Listname]
CLEANFROM Subject: Re:
REWRITE Subject: AS Subject: [Listname] %v

If you would like to send from your e-mail address, although have users reply to a different e-mail address, you may change the appearance of your e-mail address with the following script. Be sure to keep the brackets intact around the e-mail address.

REMOVE From:
ADD From: “Listserve Manager” support@yourdomain.com
 Including a signup page on your website
